Welcome to Ariela Margulies Psychotherapy
I am a registered UKCP psychotherapist, having completed the Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Integrative psychotherapy at Regent's University London. I have over 10 years of clinical experience.
As a therapist, simply put, I provide support for people experiencing problems in living born of anxiety, depression, relationship issues, career stresses, fertility issues, perimenopause, menopause, religious/spiritual conflict and the impact of childhood trauma. This is not an exhaustive list for further information please see my page on services.
I am a natural problem solver and enjoy working with individuals to understand how they can lead a more fulfilling life, enhancing communication skills and fostering a deeper sense of self-insight and authenticity.
In my practice I seek to further my clients understanding of their emotions as signals of how they experience the world around them, increasing their sense of agency and congruence.
As an integrative therapist I see each client as an individual, my approach reflects this core belief. I draw from several modalities, namely the Humanistic, the Psychodynamic and the Existential. Beyond theory I believe that the relationship fostered between the therapist and the client is at the core of healing and insight.
I have experience working in charities, a publicly funded treatment facility (Turning Point), a world renowned institution of higher education (The Royal College of Art), and a leading Harley street fertility clinic (Fertility Plus), whilst maintaining a private practice.
My private clinic offers you the opportunity to access online therapy whether you are seeking a short-term module with a more limited scope, or delving deep into long-term growth, in a safe non judgemental, compassionate setting.
“What is true is already so. Owning up to it doesn't make it worse. Not being open about it doesn't make it go away. And because it's true, it is what is there to be interacted with. Anything untrue isn't there to be lived. People can stand what is true, for they are already enduring it.”
